Where Your Child Can Discover God Through Fun
Welcome to Michigan’s SpringHill Copper Country Christian Camp, a fun-filled week fostering your child’s faith journey!
At SpringHill Copper Country camp, where your child sees fun, we see opportunity. The chance to help your child overcome fears, practice bravery and compassion, and learn to find new solutions for their challenges.
Last summer at SpringHill:
How will SpringHill summer camp foster personal and spiritual growth in your child?
Where They Play!
Children learn new skills when they laugh, share adventures, and have fun. Different experiences also build resiliency, courage, and kindness along the way.
Our camp activities help campers face their fears while encouraging others to face theirs. They practice kindness and compassion by making friends with fellow campers with different needs and interests. They gain confidence, discover strengths, and tap into new interests by participating in events that may initially seem challenging.
Each day, SpringHill campers typically participate in three exciting activities:
HIGH ADVENTURE!
- Take turns on the Giant Swing.
- Swing on the Flying Squirrel.
- Brave the Copper Country Zipline.
- Conquer the Copper Country Rock Wall.
WATER ACTIVITIES!
- Plunge into the Lake from Rope Swings and the Mighty Gusher.
- Bounce off the Copper Country Blob.
- Slip and slide down the 2nd longest Waterslide in the midwest.
- Kayak across the Lake.
CRAFTS & TARGET SPORTS!
- Make tie-dye shirts, candles, soap, or bracelets.
- Aim for a bullseye in Archery.
- Challenge cabin-mates in a Battle of the Bows.
- Learn teambuilding skills on a Low Ropes Course.
Where They Sleep!
Small group camping cabins are a fundamental part of the camp experience and encourage friendships with fellow campers and counselors. Boys and girls have their own cabins and bunk in the Pioneer Village, Fishing Village, or Trappers Outpost, and some weeks they might in the Tee-Pees. Each cabin has electricity and shared bathhouses.
Pioneer Village
8 Cabins | Accommodates 14 campers and 2 counselors in each cabin.
Fishing Village
4 Cabins | Accommodates 14 campers and 2 counselors in each cabin.
Trappers Outpost
4 Cabins | Accommodates 14 campers and 2 counselors in each cabin.
Downtime with cabin mates is part of each day’s schedule. Free time allows them to get to know each other through games, fun, and conversation. Counselors also help them relate the day’s events to the spiritual theme.
Innovative Programs for Campers with Physical Disabilities
SpringHill provides innovative programs that include campers from all walks of life and all skill levels. Most of our activities can accommodate children with physical limitations. In addition to accommodations, we offer one-on-one staffing for campers who need extra assistance during their camp experience.

The SpringHill Way
God Immersed
Recognizing that it is God through Christ who transforms lives, not our programming or planning. We integrate faith and fun so seamlessly that spiritual truth comes alive in everyday camp moments.
Embracing
Creating a welcoming environment for all young people, no matter their spiritual background, emotional needs, or life circumstances, because we believe every person is made in the image of God and therefore has inherent dignity and worth.
Innovative
Designing creative, fun, and formational activities, programs, and spaces that spark growth, offering experiences kids and staff rarely encounter at home.
Exceptional Quality
We pursue excellence in all we do as an act of worship and stewardship, crafting every experience, environment, and interaction with care and intentionality. Our work reflects the weight of our mission and the worthiness of our message, honoring God and others through thoughtful service and attention to detail.
Partnerships
Working in deep collaboration with churches, families, and missional partners to surround young people with consistent, Christ-centered influences, before, during, and after their SpringHill experience.
Christ-Centered Leaders
We raise up leaders who embody our core values and live out SpringHill’s mission and vision. They are trained with excellence and lead through authentic relationships, modeling the love and transformation of Jesus in all they do.
Don’t let finances keep your child from experiencing camp!
At SpringHill, we want every child to experience Christ through camp, regardless of socio-economic conditions.
Due to generous donations, we are able to offer partial scholarships based on financial need.
Applications are considered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
