Help Us Create Spiritual Experiences that have a Life-Changing Impact through Our Christian Camps and Retreats

*SpringHill is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All gifts are tax-deductible.

We are a non-profit Christian Charity that has been crafting transformative spiritual experiences through our Christian camps and retreats to create a positive impact on the communities we serve. Our programs have partnered with local Christian churches, uplifted communities, and enriched lives for over fifty years.

Intertwining faith with fun, we design engaging activities, inspirational events, and worship, fostering deeper connections with Jesus Christ drawing on His messages of grace, hope, and love.

Youth can join us for a week of camp or enroll in one of our many retreats. These retreats and camps feature dynamic faith-based activities, motivational speakers, and worship teams combined with high-adventure fun. Our programs are dedicated to Christ’s teachings, introducing attendees to the Gospel, and guiding them on their spiritual paths.

Celebrate the Legacy. Continue the Mission.

In the summer of 1969, deep in the wilderness, a young boy named Mike Smith encountered a world that would change him forever.

With a fishing rod in one hand and a BB gun slung over his shoulder, 9-year-old Mike explored SpringHill like a scene out of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Camp was more than a place to spend a week—it was a sanctuary. Immersed in the great outdoors, surrounded by towering trees and calm lakes, Mike discovered his passion and found a haven where he could be himself.

That summer was the beginning of SpringHill Camps, a place that captured Mike’s heart and sparked a lifetime commitment to sharing Christ with kids. SpringHill wasn’t just founded to get kids outdoors, but to introduce them to the transformative message of the Gospel.

Since then, 55 years have passed. While much has changed, SpringHill’s core mission remains: bringing young people into the joy of knowing Jesus through relationship-based experiences. Whether around a campfire, in a canoe, or during a small group, SpringHill has always believed that the true adventure lies in building relationships.

For Mike, who has served as a camper, counselor, canoe instructor, lifeguard, area director, and board member, SpringHill has been a lifelong journey of faith and purpose. From designing and branding SpringHill through his design firm to guiding countless campers in their own faith journeys, Mike’s commitment exemplifies the power of the camp experience.

Now, as we celebrate 55 years of camp, Mike and the SpringHill team invite you to make an impact on generations to come. By giving $55 in honor of SpringHill’s 55 years, you’ll help provide future campers with an adventure of a lifetime, full of friendship, faith, and life-changing moments in Christ.

Join us today! Become a monthly donor and help give young people the opportunity to discover the same adventure and hope that shaped Mike’s life.
