Join us at SpringHill as a Volunteer

Volunteering at SpringHill is more than just giving your time and talents—it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of the kids and families we serve. Whether you’re helping with special events, maintaining the grounds, or serving alongside staff, your efforts create unforgettable experiences that draw people closer to Christ.

But the impact doesn’t stop there—volunteering is also a deeply rewarding experience for you. It’s a chance to grow spiritually, build meaningful connections, and be part of something bigger than yourself.

When you serve at SpringHill, you don’t just help the camp—you become part of the mission, shaping lives and strengthening faith, including your own.

FAQs

Thank you for your heart to serve! Volunteering at SpringHill is an incredible way to serve, grow, and make lasting memories. Whether you’re new to volunteering or a longtime supporter, we want to make the process easy and welcoming.

Here are some common questions to help you get started on this rewarding journey.

  • Are there specific skills needed for SpringHill projects?

We want to work with any individual or group that wants to volunteer at SpringHill. We have many project needs that do not require special skills.

However, we are always in need of the following:

    • Medical Volunteers: Doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistant volunteers (RN or higher) are needed to offer medical care during summer camp.
    • Prayer Team: Primarily summer camp focused, but work for a week with us and should have some background with ministry and/or association with SpringHill
    • Seasonal Residents: these are individuals that come up for a week or the entire summer and generally support facilities and site needs (kitchen is also an opportunity area here). We can provide an RV spot while you are here. Perfect for retirees.
    • Skilled Trades: Plumbers, Carpenters, Gardeners, Tram Drivers, and Painters.
    • Local and Retreat Support: This includes general support for areas like activities, check-in for summer camp/retreats, and pre-summer prep work. These projects are typically 1 day opportunities.
  • If we volunteer at SpringHill, can we become eligible for a discount on a programmed or custom event?

Yes! Medical, Prayer Team, and Seasonal volunteers with more than 100 hours of support can qualify for a discount on overnight camp experiences for your kids or grandkids. Families can volunteer and receive a discount on a family camp or family retreat.
