The SpringHill Apprentice Program application deadline is May 1st, with apprentices starting on August 11th at the Indiana campus and August 19th at the Michigan campus.
The SpringHill Apprentice Program is a paid, one-year experience designed for young adults seeking spiritual growth and leadership development.
This program, based at our camp properties in Seymour, IN, or Evart, MI, blends hands-on ministry work with professional camping skills and personal growth opportunities. You will live on-site in a Christ-centered community, building lasting relationships with others committed to growing together.
Through mentorship with experienced professionals, you will gain leadership skills, explore your vocational calling, and apply your learning in real-world contexts. Spiritual development is a key focus, with group Bible studies, spiritual coaching, and personal support guiding you throughout the year.
This program offers a unique opportunity to grow holistically and view your work as an act of worship while learning to recognize God’s presence in everyday moments.

The SpringHill Apprentice Program is ideal for college-aged young adults or recent college graduates who are eager to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.
Designed for individuals between the ages of 21 and 26, this program offers much more than a traditional gap year—it serves as a launchpad for personal development and future career opportunities. We seek hard-working, teachable, and team-oriented individuals who have a desire to live in a Christ-centered community and contribute meaningfully to that environment.

What To Expect During the Apprentice Program
The SpringHill Apprentice Program is a full-time, immersive experience designed to develop as individuals and leaders in your community. You can serve at either our Seymour, IN, or Evart, MI, camp locations, each offering unique ministry experiences.
- Seymour, IN: Apprentices participate in three ministry rotations, gaining diverse experience in different fields of camp ministry.
- Evart, MI: Apprentices focus on camp operations, developing a broad set of skills related to running a Christ-centered camp.
Throughout the program, you will develop essential skills such as leadership, responsibility, time management, and interpersonal communication. The program emphasizes both hard and soft skills, including conflict resolution and management, to prepare you for future leadership roles.
