Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the questions we get asked. If you don’t see your question here, please call or email so we can answer it for you!

• Does Financial Aid cover ALL costs?

  Scholarships generally cover part of the cost of the experience, but not the full tuition.

  For overnight camp, most scholarships cover 35%-75% of tuition.

  For Day Camp programs most scholarships reduce the cost of the camp experience to $249.

• Can I get Financial Aid and use a discount?

  We are not able to apply discounts on top of Financial Aid.

  If a discount covers more than your eligible financial aid, we will apply that. Between the two, we apply the option that reduces cost most.

• Who is eligible?

  Any child with financial need is eligible. Financial need is determined by the total household income, and the number of members within the household.

  Special circumstances are taken under consideration as well.

  Kids may only receive 1 scholarship per year.

• Does this form register my child for camp?

  No. We prefer that you register your child and pay the camp deposit prior to completing the Financial Aid request form.

  If for any reason your request for Financial Aid is denied, your deposit can be refunded.

• When will I find out if I received Financial Aid?

  Our goal is to make a decision within a week of receiving each request. Once a decision has been made on your request, someone from our team will call or email you to let you know if you are receiving financial aid, and for how much. They will be able to walk you through next steps at that time.

• Where does the financial aid money come from?

  Scholarships are made possible through generous donations from individuals, churches, and organizations.
