The First Step Toward Confidence and Faith

The Perfect Start to Overnight Camp

SpringHill Mini Camp program gives young campers the perfect first taste of overnight camp life. Designed specifically for kindergarten through second graders, this two-night, three-day experience helps kids build confidence, discover independence, and grow in faith. All in a safe, caring environment created just for them.

Big Adventure in a Small Package

SpringHill Mini is an introduction to overnight camp life built around safety, faith, and fun. Every detail is intentional, creating a space where young campers can explore, play, and grow with confidence.

With age-appropriate activities, a 1:5 counselor-to-camper ratio, family-style meals, and moments of laughter under the stars, your child will experience the wonder of camp in a way that feels both exciting and secure.

Over two nights, your child will:

  • Build confidence and courage through climbing and small group activities designed for smaller adventurers
  • Discover the wonder of camp through crafts, games, and group challenges that spark creativity and teamwork
  • Make new friends during pool time and water play under the guidance of certified lifeguards
  • Experience God’s love through campfire songs, stories, and bedtime devotions that end each day with joy and peace

“It was the perfect first overnight experience. My daughter came home singing camp songs and telling stories about Jesus!”
— Emily, mom of a first grader

Short & Sweet

Two nights away is just enough for kids to taste independence without feeling overwhelmed, and for parents to breathe easy.

“We were nervous, but the staff cared for our son like family. Now he can’t wait for the full week next year!”
— Mike, dad of a second grader

K-2 LODGING

Where They Sleep!

Your camper will sleep in climate-controlled cabins nestled in the heart of camp.

Each cabin includes:

  • Bunk beds for small cabin groups (usually 8–10 campers)
  • Caring, trained counselors who stay in the cabin overnight
  • Nighttime routines with bedtime stories, prayers, and lights out by 8:30
  • Close proximity to restrooms and staff housing for additional safety

We intentionally keep cabin groups small to help campers feel connected and secure. It’s their home base for adventure, worship, and rest. And often the place where lifelong friendships begin.

Where They Play

At SpringHill, play is purposeful. Every activity is designed to help kids build courage, creativity, and confidence while experiencing joy-filled community.

Your child will enjoy:

  • Climbing wall, flying squirrel, and inflatables sized for smaller adventurers
  • Craft corners where imaginations soar
  • Splash time and parties at the pool (with certified lifeguards)
  • Free play on Adventure Island
  • Petting farm and gentle animal encounters
  • Silly songs, camp games, small group activities and large group games that encourage teamwork and laughter

From their first cannonball to their first worship song, your child will experience the joy of growing brave and the wonder of God’s creation.

Faith & Formation

Every moment at SpringHill Mini points kids toward Jesus.

Our programming weaves faith naturally into the rhythms of camp. This includes interactive Bible stories, music and worship, and cabin devotions that help young hearts understand God’s love in simple, joyful ways.

Each day includes:

  • Morning devotional time and prayer with their counselors
  • Songs and stories that teach biblical truths in fun, memorable ways
  • Nightly campfires where campers celebrate God together
  • Quiet reflection and bedtime prayers that help them rest in peace and gratitude

Our goal is to help kids see faith not as a separate part of life, but as a joyful, everyday relationship with God — one that will grow with them long after camp ends.
