A Message from the Board Chair and President
Dear SpringHill Community,
On behalf of the SpringHill Board of Directors, I want to share an important update about the future of our ministry. After much prayer and a rigorous evaluation process with industry professionals, the Board and Senior Leadership Team have made the difficult but necessary decision to sell the Indiana property and sunset our Day Camp program. These decisions support our goals of eliminating debt, reducing complexity, and focusing our energy on delivering excellent customer experiences from a single, thriving location.
These decisions were not made lightly. They come after hundreds of hours of modeling, dialogue, and discernment about how to best steward the mission, resources, and people of SpringHill. We are deeply grateful for the faithful leaders who have brought us to this point—each one laying foundations on which we now build.
Our new President, Molly Ramseyer, has led us through this challenging time with boldness, humility, and prayerful wisdom. She has built strong teams, listened carefully, and embraced the reality that pruning is sometimes necessary for new growth to occur. Her vision—“simplify to multiply”—calls us to focus deeply on our Michigan overnight camp, programs, and church partnerships.
This is not a retreat from our mission but a refocusing of it. We remain steadfast in our calling: to glorify God by creating life-impacting experiences that enable young people to know Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. The Spirit is already at work through these steps, preparing us for even greater impact in the years ahead.
Thank you for standing with us. Your prayers, encouragement, and partnership make this ministry possible. Together, we believe God will use this season of pruning to multiply fruit for His Kingdom.
With gratitude and hope,
Scott Whitlock
Chair, SpringHill Board of Directors
