Molly Goes to Camp: A Story of Courage, Faith, and Growing Up
Discover the new children’s book inspired by SpringHill President Molly Ramseyer’s childhood camp experience.
Every Brave Beginning Has a Story
At eight years old, Molly was nervous about spending her first week away from home at SpringHill. She didn’t know what to expect, and saying goodbye to her parents wasn’t easy.
But that week, something began to change.
Through new friendships, exciting adventures, and the comfort of knowing Jesus was always near, Molly began discovering courage she didn’t know she had.
She returned to SpringHill year after year, growing in her faith, building lasting relationships, and discovering more about who God made her to be.
Years later, that once-nervous camper would return to lead the very ministry that helped shape her life.

Is Your Child Ready for Camp? Are You Ready to Let Them Go?
Inspired by a true story, Molly Goes to Camp follows a young girl navigating the excitement and uncertainty of her first overnight camp adventure.
Written for children ages 7–12, this encouraging Christian chapter book explores friendship, homesickness, courage, and the comfort of knowing Jesus is always near.
It’s a story for children learning that being brave doesn’t mean never feeling afraid, and for parents discovering that letting go can be an important part of helping their child grow.
